Founder and Principal Solicitor of the practice, Rebecca Burdon is an experienced legal practitioner, having enjoyed a lengthy career at one of Victoria's largest criminal law practices, where she frequently made appearances in all Victorian criminal law jurisdictions. Rebecca's experience in a wide-ranging criminal law practice saw her with conduct of hundreds of matters, advocating on behalf of her clients, some of which included driving offences, property and assault offences, breach intervention order, dishonesty and murder. A firm believer in access to justice, Rebecca is results-driven and will go the extra mile to ensure you get the best outcome in the circumstances.

Rebecca has worked in legal practice in public sector anti-corruption, regulation and law enforcement, where she managed complex cases and prosecutions, supporting investigations into public sector corruption and police personnel misconduct. Rebecca has appeared as counsel assisting Commissions of inquiry in coercive private examinations and supported high profile public examinations. Rebecca has frequently appeared at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Supreme Court in applications for Telecommunication Intercept and Surveillance Device warrants.

Rebecca's extensive previous career as a social worker in the Victorian mental health system, involved advocacy for involuntary patient's subject to the Mental Health Act 1986. Rebecca's clinical skills and responsibilities demonstrated on various CAT Teams in metropolitan Melbourne, compliment her legal practice. Rebecca is known for her pragmatic, authentic and honest approach when helping you reach your goal.

Rebecca is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). She sits as a Non-Executive Director on the Social Security Rights Victoria (SSRV) board, a service which provides free legal information and assistance in relation to social security issues to people who live in Victoria. Rebecca also sits on the Board of Directors at Genwest, an organisation working toward gender equity, helping people experiencing family violence, supporting communities to lead safe and healthy lives, and advocating for equal rights and the prevention of family violence.
